CANFAR is a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
With new Have a Heart for CANFAR teams each year, and new Communications & Marketing Interns three times a year, we welcome and then have to say goodbye to great people often (but they usually return as amazing volunteers!)
The beginning of March marked the end of the Have a Heart for CANFAR 2011 team's time at CANFAR. Amanda, Jenn and Talia helped grow the high school program to reach over 1,250,000 students across Canada in more than 2,000 schools! They also were an awesome addition to our CANFAR staff, and help keep things really fun at the office.
All three are heading out of CANFAR into really great experiences: Amanda will be heading to Guyana for a nine month humanitarian trip, Talia's already made her way to Las Vegas and Jenn is off to South East Asia.
On behalf of the CANFAR staff, I want to wish three amazing women a great time... we'll see you all when you get back to Canada!
On a similar note, I'm excited to welcome Andrew Townsend to the Communications & Marketing team! Andrew will be working with CANFAR on managing our social media -- so make sure to Tweet or Facebook a warm welcome to him! :)
