On Thursday morning at 10 AM, CANFAR is holding a press conference to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the first medical diagnosis of HIV and AIDS, and release the results of a new national poll on Canadians’ attitudes, knowledge levels and perceptions on HIV and AIDS.
We have been working on this project along with the CIHR Social Research Centre for HIV Prevention at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health, University of Toronto, and the national polling firm Strategic Counsel.
It is the first national poll of its kind since 2006. The press conference will feature a panel of researchers from the three organizations.
