The HAH girls had a blast visiting schools in the GTA this week to see their campaigns in action.
Keshia Chanté and some of the CANFAR staff visited Northern Secondary School in Toronto on February 9th to kick off the 2012 Have a Heart Campaign.
Have a Heart for CANFAR is the foundation's national youth education campaign. CANFAR provides high schools across Canada with the tools to educate students about HIV and AIDS. It is the only program in Canada of its kind.
Every year around Valentine's Day, students in schools across Canada take part in Have a Heart for CANFAR by selling 'Heart-o-grams' to their peers. CANFAR supplies schools with all of the HIV and AIDS materials to create 'Heart-o-grams' at no cost!
Since the start of the Have a Heart for CANFAR campaign in 1993, millions of students in every province and territory have increased awareness about HIV and AIDS and raised funds for AIDS research.
