CANFAR Campus Clubs are groups of post-secondary students across the country who are working to raise awareness and funds for research. Annually, these student leaders organize fundraisers, galas, and panel discussions on campus to address the issue of AIDS, both within their demographic and internationally.
These Clubs bring students together, allowing them to create and execute a variety of events and programs, from parties and bake sales, to video screenings and karaoke nights. Through organizing these events, students gain valuable experience and develop a firm knowledge about HIV & AIDS, while raising funds for life-saving research.
As youth remain one of the most vulnerable demographics in the HIV & AIDS epidemic, these Clubs help CANFAR reach and educate thousands of Canadian youth. As a critical aspect of our overall mandate, CANFAR Clubs are tremendously important and we are grateful for the continual support of Canada’s future leaders.
