At CANFAR, we are developing our Social Media Strategy. Along with this revamped website, we’re coming up with new ways to use digital & social media to raise money and awareness for HIV/AIDS research, and to connect with the awesome people who support us every day.
Because we are trying to connect better with people just like you, we figure you'd be the right people to help us fill in our strategy. Some questions that we want to answer include:
- What social media platforms should we use (and what shouldn't we use)?
- What should we talk about?
- What should we send out?
- What are some ideas for infographics that you'd like to see?
- What are the most engaging topics and ideas you’ve seen on social media channels?
- What can we do that hasn’t been done?
- What can we do to help engage you and your friends in our cause?
We want to be smart about how we grow and develop online. We want to create events and campaigns in a way that integrates seamlessly with our cause, and our communities. We don't want to use social media for social media's sake: we want to use it in the most positive and effective ways to share and promote Canadian HIV/AIDS research. And we need your help figuring out how.
