Corporate Sponsor Profiles
There are more than a hundred corporate, media, and private partners doing incredible work behind the scenes to support HIV and AIDS research and awareness. These individuals and groups make it possible for CANFAR to fund research initiatives, host fundraising events, and lead awareness programming. We shine the spotlight on two of them in this issue of Catalyst.
AIDSbeat Legends was a rocking success this year, with sincere thanks to Gold Sponsor Agnico Eagle for their support of the event. Agnico Eagle is a senior Canadian gold mining company that has produced precious metals since 1957 and this year, they mark their 60th anniversary as CANFAR marks our 30th year. Congratulations to Agnico Eagle on marking 60 years and for supporting CANFAR for over 20 years. Agnico Eagle’s lifetime giving amounts to over $100,000, all in support of AIDSbeat. CANFAR graciously thanks Agnico Eagle for their dedication to supporting life-saving HIV and AIDS research.
MAVERICK DISTILLERY I TAG NO. 5 VODKA
CANFAR events would not be the same without TAG No. 5 Vodka. Guests look forward to enjoying a signature TAG No. 5 cocktail at CANFAR’s events throughout the year. This Ontario vodka is hand-crafted in small batches and makes for a refreshing cocktail base. We would like to acknowledge Craig Peters, Chief Vodka Officer, who has been donating to CANFAR for over seven years. CANFAR would like to thank Maverick Distillery and TAG No. 5 Vodka for their ongoing support of HIV and AIDS research.
